Analyst Finder was founded in order to overcome five obstacles that confront all companies and recruiters in their efforts to find the best available analytical talent: (1) the majority of analysts aren’t actively looking for new positions; (2) many analysts either aren’t part of or choose to be anonymous in employment-related networking sites like LinkedIn; (3) no database service currently lets analysts control who can see their information; (4) the data currently available to HR departments and recruiters doesn’t capture the level of detail needed to find the right people for analytic positions, especially analytical professionals; and (5) even with the data that HR departments and recruiters can get, the information doesn’t come with the ability to find the analysts who best match the ideal candidates for the positions they are trying to fill.

Analytical professionals might be statisticians, engineers, psychologists, mathematicians, epidemiologists, sociologists, or have a degree in any number of fields. Their job titles are so varied that one can`t just search on such terms as analysts, programmers, statisticians, data scientists, predictive modelers, or for specific software skills. But, what those professionals all share in common is that they are problem solvers, have strong backgrounds in research and statistics, and understand the data, tools and methods that are needed to discover the answers that your company or client needs.

Analyst Finder is a first of its kind fully searchable opt-in database of analyst professionals that includes details of candidates’ skills and contact information. These professionals have registered in the database to increase the likelihood of finding new opportunities and/or greater compensation with the assurance that none of their information will ever be shared without their explicit permission.

Art’s career spans over 40 years of senior research analytical and management experience in education, industry and insurance. He holds a PhD from Michigan State University, has been a SAS user since 1974, is past president of the Toronto Area SAS Society and has received such recognitions as the SAS Community Builder Award (2014), the SAS Customer Value Award (2009), SAS-L Hall of Fame inductee (2011), SAS Circle of Excellence (2012) and, in 2013, was recognized as being the first person to ever have been awarded more than 10,000 points on the SAS Discussion Forums. As Insurance Bureau of Canada’s Director of Data Management he used analytics to set Canada’s national automobile insurance rates. He also developed matching database systems that were used to manage statewide academic programs, and major industry outplacement, employee training and tuition assistance efforts.

Our Privacy Policy


At Analyst Finder, Inc. we respect all of the information obtained from each of our website visitors. We protect and control the collection, use and disclosure of any and all information provided by everyone who uses our service. This Privacy Policy summarizes our information management practices.

Candidates provide their name and email addresses, as well as information that describes their education, work history, salary, skills, and some essential factors about the types of positions they would consider. Clients provide their name, company name, email address, phone number, a job description, and the criteria they want applied to identify the closest matching candidates.

Our clients and candidates are in total control of both the information they provide and that which we will ever release. All of the data our clients and candidates provide are stored in a database behind our corporate firewall. We will never share any of the information with anyone unless we are explicitly directed to do so by the information owner.

When a client requests a search of our database, the data they have provided will be matched with the data that our candidates have provided. All clients, by requesting a search, guarantee that (1) the names and email addresses we provide will only be used to contact the candidates for the one position they are trying to fill and (2) that the provided names and email addresses will never be used for any other purpose. If a candidate’s record is selected as a result of a search, the candidate will be sent an email that will include the client’s company name and the job description that the client provided. If a candidate replies to that email indicating that they are interested in the position, we will send the candidate’s name and email address to the client. Other than aggregate summaries, endorsements and testimonials, Analyst Finder, Inc. will never release any information other than as described in the previous paragraphs.

If a candidate ever wants to opt out of our database, they simply have to send an email to signup@analystfinder.com, with the subject line “optout” and, in the body of the email, include their candidate number (e.g., 2015062012010101-999999) and the most recent email address the candidate had provided. If the email address and candidate number match the information we have on record, the candidate’s information will be removed from our database.

Endorsements and Testimonials

We post endorsements and testimonials on our website which may contain personally identifiable information. We obtain each individual’s consent prior to posting their name, picture and endorsement or testimonial.


Analyst Finder does not use cookies, but some may be acquired by our service providers, Godaddy.com and stripe.com.

Aggregate Information

We may, from time to time, release aggregate summaries of our data (e.g., average salaries, numbers of candidates or clients, areas where jobs are being sought, etc.). In all such cases, no individual client or candidate data will be identifiable in any such summaries.

Children’s Policy

Analyst Finder does not knowingly collect any information from anyone who is under the age of 13. No one under age 13 is allowed to provide any information to Analyst Finder. If you are under 13, please do not use our service. In the event that we learn that we have collected information from anyone under age 13, we will immediately delete the information. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under age 13, please contact us at privacyofficer@analystfinder.com.

Compromise of Any Information

In the event that anyone’s information has been compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will promptly notify those persons by email, or as otherwise required by applicable law. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of your own transmissions, or guarantee that our physical, technical and managerial safeguards won’t be breached. Similarly, we are not responsible for the functionality or security measures of any distributor.


Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. However, we will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We will post any privacy policy changes on this page and, if a change is substantial, we will provide an email notification of our privacy policy changes to all those who may be affected.
